CLIMATE ACTION PLANNING

The Regionally Integrated Climate Action Planning Suite (RICAPS), is a set of tools and a collaboration of all 20 incorporated cities and the County in climate action planning and implementation. Learn More.

2018 MUNICIPAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY GRANTS

The San Mateo County Energy Watch has administered Municipal Energy Efficiency grants of up to $50,000 to assist twelve local agencies in implementing energy efficiency projects. Through this program, SMCEW has been able to provide additional support for local governments prioritizing energy efficiency upgrades to their own facilities.

Participating local governments are committing to installing energy efficient measures in their buildings and facilities. To reach the top tier of payment, totaling $50,000, local governments will finish installation of the upgrades by December 31, 2018.
